Welcome to Eynsham Ukuleles

Anyone fancy playing the ukulele? Eynsham Ukuleles meets twice a week, every Sunday at 12 noon and Wednesday at 7:30 pm, at The Swan in Acre End Street. You can attend whichever day suits you, or both if you wish, and beginners are welcome.

We play a wide variety of songs, some going back to around the 1920s, including songs from The Beatles, The Monkees, The Drifters, Roger Miller, Buddy Holly, and anyone else who comes to mind. (You can find the full current song list here). Our primary objective is to enjoy ourselves.

We also play gigs at carnivals, fetes, day centres, care homes, Women's Institutes, etc

There are no charges to pay, other than a contribution towards the hire of the room.

If you are a beginner, we can get you started pretty quickly. Half an hour is generally enough to cover the basics and get you playing your first songs with the group. A reasonable ukulele can be bought on Amazon or Ebay, from around £30 upwards.
